INTRODUCTION :
DIVINE MANDATE , ONLY GOD A PEEP INTO MY MANIFESTO:
My Moral, Ethical and Professional Foundations am a true believer in God because I know that in the affairs of men, it has always been ‘Only God’ and I will ever be ‘Only God’.
I practice the Scriptural values of faith and truth. At a time of an observed paucity of sound moral values, the cannons of my leadership continue to be honesty, truth and justice with service to humanity.
These are the values that shape and distil my thought. Indeed, my professional training and practice in the banking and finance sector provide the developmental foundation that has sharpened my skills in driving economic development: with nearly 20 years career with Zenith Bank PLC, my tenure as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State has been a blessing to my State and the nation at large.
My political leadership, truly, fulfills what the scriptures say in Proverbs chapter 4, verse 18 that: “The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”. It is my desire, therefore, to continue to bring sound financial management, purpose-driven leadership and direction to Akwa Ibom State for another four years. RENEWED POLICIES: Akwa Ibom State Strategic Industrialization Master Plan Study It is my intention to bring a full-blown “’New Development Blueprint” for Akwa Ibom State, which will support the on-going industrialization initiatives. This will be captured as a Master Plan Blueprint that will offer the roadmap and strategies for achieving the goals of my First Term Manifesto which were: • Job Creation • Wealth Creation • Economic and Political Inclusion • Poverty Alleviation • Infrastructural Consolidation and Expansion There will be a need for the Manifesto Implementation to be guided by an overarching Master Plan that will be formulated by experts and from Stakeholder Buy-in Validation Workshop, which will be staged in accordance with World Bank standards. Our target will be to produce a Master Plan that will also meet potential donor agency standards, in order to attract external funding from donor agencies into the State.
This master plan will also signpost the huge investment opportunities in the State for investors therefore to surpass the superior performance and position Akwa Ibom as the industrial hub of Nigeria. My ‘Completion Agenda’ is to finish that which we started in 2015 and give finishing touches on my 5point agenda.
The completion agenda which will be pronged in nature compromising the continued drive for large scale Foreign Direct Investments and active development of Micro, Small, Medium, Enterprises is anchored on the 5-point agenda that has driven my administration since 2015. I will give greater attention to Industrialization, Small-Medium-Scale-Enterprises, Aviation Development, Maritime, Security, Rural and Riverine area Development, Infrastructure, Agriculture and Human Capacity Development. With this, I will not only successfully reduce dependence on statutory allocation as the main source of revenue to the State, but will equally improve IGR, enhance the already existing enabling environment to encourage more private investments and further create more employment opportunities.

My dream is to improve the living standard of our people, provide basic infrastructure, tighten security, develop human capital and continue to boost services in education and healthcare.

To achieve this, my completion agenda sets the following target for various sectors of the state.
