El-Rufai’s Victory : Southern Kaduna Man treks from Zonkwa To Kaduna

A 28-year-old man trekked from Zonkwa to Kaduna in honour of Kaduna State Governor ,Malam Nasir El-Rufai ,who won the 2019 Kaduna guber election .
The Zonkwa born, Kazah Bakut who commenced the over 200-kilometre trek from Zonkwa to Kaduna on Sunday, March 10, 2019 arrived Kaduna on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 midnight.
Bukut who was at Secretariat of the Nigeria today told journalists said ,he decided to embark on the trek to show his support and happiness for El-rufai’s victory at polls despite all criticism ,hatred and threat to “pull him down ” during the election .
He said the walk is also to spur the governor – elect into striving to reposition the state amongst the leading economy in the country.
“Governor El-Rufai had started well and there is the need for Kaduna residents to encourage him to do more than he did in his first tenure”. He said .
Bakut explained that the walk is also to correct some impressions that nobody loves El-Rufai in Southern Kaduna. ” This is a sign of unity and love between the people of Kaduna state.
” I trekked to celebrate the victory because in the last three years, Kaduna state has witnessed massive development under El-rufai’s leadership”, he said.
Bakut therefore called on the people of the State to be more patient and join hands with the governor in his quest to move the state forward.

  1. Its true that southern Kaduna indigenes who are realists know the good works of El rufai, and like his administration. For those of us who schooled in public schools when there were no private schools, except Capital school, which was a government special school, welcome all the efforts of the state government. I congratulate him and call for more dividends of democracy. I also call on my brothers and sisters in southern Kaduna to eschew selfishness and hatred, and support the regime in developing the state.
