Caleb Danladi Foundation Donates Relief Materials to Victims of Kajuru Crises

In his avowed quest to give back to the society , the founder of Caleb Danladi Foundation, an Abuja based Non Governmental Organisation,Mr Caleb Danladi Bako has donated relief materials to victims of recent Kajuru crises in Kaduna State .
Mr. Bako a native of Jaba Local government area of Kaduna said the decision to donate the food stuffs ,shoes,clothes, drinks and other necessary daily upkeep materials was informed by the concern and passion to give succour to the distressed and traumatised persons ,especially the less privileged ,who widows and children .
In addition to the relief material donated to the displaced person at the Kajuru IDP Camp , Mr Caleb Danladi Bako promised to sponsor good number of children of the displaced persons .
“We are going to collate the statistics of affected children out of school due to the unfortunate crisis and get sponsors to assist them with funds so that they they can go back to school.
“We are also prepared to provide teachers and teaching aids for the children at IDPs camp “
Speaking shortly after donating the relief materials at the IDP Camp , Mr Bako ,who expressed sadness over the frequent attacks and killings of innocent citizens at Kajuru villages promised to follow-up on the gesture.
According to him, the foundation was set up to provide humanitarian services to orphan and widows and so he would not relent to always reach out in times of need .
While he prayed and hoped that this kind of sad news will stop , he urged NGOs and rich people in the society to consider the precarious conditions of the victims of Kajuru Crises and help with relief materials.
The Chairman of Adara Development Association, kajuru local government area , Mumini Madogo, ,who received the relief materials on behalf of the victims said the 400 Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, of the crises in Maraban Kajuru LEA 1 primary school are lacking in all the basic facilities including water, toilet, bathroom and mattress in their camp.
He commended Caleb Danladi Foundation for donating foods, clothes and other items worth hundreds of thousands of naira to the camp on Friday in Kaduna.
“We were overwhelmed with the support received from the Foundation to the people who are in need ,because of the circumstances they found themselves.” He added .
Madogo however ,lamented that the camp, comprising mostly women and children, was yet to have Water, toilets, bathroom, and other essentiality such as mattress and misquote nets and appealed to government, corporate organizations and individuals to come to their aid.
Meanwhile ,he disclosed that Kajuru local government council has been very supportive in providing foods and other domestic needs, while Southern Kaduna People’s Union, SOKAPU, has been assisting the camps in areas of medical support by providing treatment for the sick in all the six IDP camps in Kajuru.
On the donation from the Foundation, he said, “Until such thing happen to you, one will hardly not know the number of people that love them”, and therefore called on other to emulate the good gesture.
