Kano Information Commissioner thanks Ganduje,Colleagues ,Indigenes for opportunity to serve.

Commissioner of Information, Youths and Culture in the last four years has thanked the Kano Governor ,Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje , his colleagues, Kano Indigenes and Nigerians for the opportunity given to him to serve the State
The former National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ posted the speech on Facebook shortly after his Principal, Governor Ganduje took an oath of office for his second term as the Executive Governor of Kano State.
Garba revealed that , “A book on my stewardship in Kano state Government under the administration of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is nearing completion. Thank you all for your support as I bow out today as Kano state Commissioner of Information, Youth and Culture.”
He further expressed gratitude , “I am pleased to use this medium to express my gratitude to colleagues, comrades, friends and associates who have contributed, in one way or the other, to the success of my tenure as Kano state Commissioner of Information, Youths and Culture in the last four years.
“I wish to say that I am honoured to have served in this capacity under a great leader and administrator, His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. I make bold to say that the opportunity he offered me to serve the good people of Kano state as the spokesman of the Government has really enriched my experience in service to Kano state, Nigeria and humanity. I am, indeed, very grateful to His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the confidence he reposed in me while discharging my official duties.
“I must also say that the opportunity given to me to serve Kano state has further exposed me to the nitty gritty of politics and politicking at the state level, therefore, giving me the required experience to serve my state and country, even in higher positions.
“I am also grateful to my constituency, members of the Fourth Estate of the Real who as individuals and collective organizations gave me adequate support to carry out my duties responsibly and professionally as well as the Directors, chief executives of various parastatals under my ministry and the entire of the ministry .
“I am passionately expressing my gratitude to the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ); Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE); Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria; Nigerian Association of Women Journalists; Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON); Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATAWU); editors; online editors; reporters; all the working journalists in Kano; and many others who contributed to this success story.
“For the youths and youth organizations who were always there to contribute to Governor Ganduje’s youth empowerment initiatives, I say a big thank you.”
