Senator Gaya Condoles Late Umar Tudun-Wada’s Family, Kano Govt. ,Journalists
Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya (APC Kano South) has condoled with the family of Mallam Umar Sa’id Tudunwada, former Vice-President Nigeria Guild of Editors, former Managing Director, Radio Kano and former Special Adviser to Kano State governor whose death occurred in a ghastly motor accident recently.
In a condolence message, the Kano State lawmaker described the death of the veteran journalist as a loss not to the family only, but to entire Kano State, Nigeria journalism profession and Nigeria in general.
He said that Umar is such fine journalist and family man that will be missed by colleagues both at home and abroad. He further said that the death of the former Special Adviser to the Kano State governor has occurred at time that his function is greatly needed to move our dear state to the next level.
Senator Gaya commiserated with family and enjoined them to take solace in the fact that the former Guild of Editors’ Vice- President lived a life of lasting legacy.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the former Managing Director of Radio Kano.
