The Acting National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP),Chief Supo Shonibare and the entire members of SDP joined friends, family and others to wish Sen. Ebenezer Ikeyina happy birthday .
According to the press statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Alfa Mohammed : “Chief Ikeyina who turned 81 years today was a Senator of the third republic under the SDP in Nigeria and one of the current national leaders of the party.
” National Chairman in his congratulatory message wrote “ Senator, I write on behalf of our great Party, SDP to join your family, friends and well wishers in wishing you a very happy birthday and joyful celebrations.
“We see you not only as a most Distinguished Senator, but also as a National Leader of our Party who is able to always speak truth to power and also being of an impeccable character who always align with the greatest good for Nigeria since the first coming of SDP in the 1990s when you were elected in to the senate.
“The National chairman who wished the celebrant many more years of healthy living enjoined him not to relent “in the service of God and humanity”, prayed God to bless him with continuing health of mind and body to booth.”
