Just In: Kaduna Assembly Dissolves Committees ,Sets Up Ad-hoc Committees

Eight days after the former Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly (KDHA),Rt Hon.Aminu Abdullahi Shagali resigned and Rt. Hon.Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani emerged new Speaker, the House dissolved all its committees during today’s sitting.

The House later constituted three ad-hoc committees to oversee the affairs of all Committees before reconstituting new substantive committees. 

The adhoc committees and their members are as follows:
Ad-hoc Committee (1 ):
Hon. Suleiman Ibrahim Dabo – ChairmanHon. Aminu Abdullahi ShagaliHon. Tanimu MusaHon. Salisu Dadada BalaHon. Nasiru UsmanHon. Isaac Auta ZankhaiHon. Yusuf IbrahimHon. Bashir Idris Gatari Hon. Ali KalatHon. Faisal AbbasThe above Committee is to be chaired by Hon. Suleiman Dabo and is to oversee the affairs of the following Committees :

1. Budget and Planning 2. Information, media and public affairs3. Health4. Local Government affairs5. Public works and infrastructure 6. Interfaith 7. Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA)8. Pension and gratuity
