Rep David raises motion to connect Gashaka/Kurmi , Sardauna to national grid

Federal Lawmaker representing Gashaka,Kurmi and Sardauna constituency of Taraba State , Hon. David Abel Fuoh raised a motion to connect his constituents with the national grid.

David during the Tuesday plenary presided by the Speaker, Rt.Hon Femi Gbajabiamila Said the Kashibilla hydropower plant makes it easy for the Federal Government through the Yola Distribution company to Link his Constituency with the national grid.

The motion was raised under matter of public urgent interest by the member, saying that the people has never being connected with the national grid hence the urgent need to do so.

This according to him, is in view of the rubost Power sector of the Federal Government and this will go a long way in revamping the socio Economy nature of the three Local Government in Taraba state in the area of education, health and Agriculture.

While raising the motion, David enjoined other Lawmaker to support the motion because of the hidden potentials it will unravel to the entire Taraba state.

Speaker Femi commended the timely motion initiated by Fuoh as it is people and community driven.

Our reporter in an interview chat asked David why the thought of the motion.

According to him ,electricity has become the hub of Economy driver that drives and attracts investors from all works of life, if there can be steady electricity his Constituency will have more opportunities of irrigation farming and businesses of all sort will also thrives.
