Membership Revalidation: LG Chair Urges Registration Officers to be Transparent
The Chairman of Kagarko Local Government, Hon. Nasara Auta Rabo, has warned stakeholders to desist from hijacking the ongoing process of the All Progressives Congress (APC) membership registration and revalidation exercise.
Rabo ,who described the exercise as transparent, said the residents of the LGA have shown interest in becoming members of the party due to the peoples oriented projects of APC in the area in the last few years.
“What we have done in the last few years of APC in Kagarko LGA have covered the long years spent by PDP in the area.
” Since our emergence, we have focused on peoples oriented projects across the wards that made up of the LGA.” He said .
Rabo disclosed that the registration exercise which commenced 9th February, 2021 will last for 14 days.
Speaking on the security arrangement, the Council Chairman said, the Council is on top of the situation to forestall any security threat that may likely come up as the process progresses.
He however, advised that the adhoc staff should be orderly and ensure a transparent process throughout the exercise, just as he said that the exercise would once again prove the popularity of APC in Kagarko.
While speaking, the Chairman of the APC membership registration and revalidation committee, Hon. Bala Ahmed Jere, explained that materials for the exercise have been distributed to the 10 wards for onward distribution to the 113 polling units without itches.
In his remarks, the APC Chairman in Kagarko LGA, Naibi Ibrahim Sambo, lauded the turn out of members for the exercise, saying that 113 registration forms have been distributed across the LGA.
Sambo who disclosed that 100 registration forms are expected to be distributed to the 113 polling units in the area, boasted that no any other party exist in Kagarko LGA than APC.
