Bauchi Governor Hails IGP,PSC over Ongoing Promotional Exercise in Force
:Decorates 9 police officers working in Government House Bauchi
Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state on Monday applauded the Police Service Commission and the Inspector General of Police over the ongoing promotional exercise in the force.
The governor made the commendation shortly after decorating nine police personnel who were promoted from the rank of Inspectors to Assistants Superintendent of Police.
Governor Bala Mohammed observed that, the promotion will ginger the moral of the beneficiaries to redouble their efforts in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities.
He acknowledged the outstanding contribution and sacrifice of the security agencies working in the Government House Bauchi and pledged to provide them with a conducive environment to perform optimally.
The governor who congratulated the decorated officers for their well deserved promotion, enjoined them to live up to expectations.
“Accept my congratulations and that of the Government and people of Bauchi state for this well deserved promotions, I recognised your contribution to our safety in Government House.”
“We are very very grateful to the Inspector General of Police and Police Service Commission who deemed it necessary to approve the promotion of these vibrant officers.”
The promoted police officers and operatives of other security agencies who are working in Government House Bauchi, the governor called on them to consider their promotion as a wakeup call for the renew service to the nation.
Governor Bala Mohammed who said security agencies and police in particular as the last hope of the common people in the protection of their lives and property, noted that, there is need to come up with a new strategy and approach of bringing to an end, the current insecurity in the country.
Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, ASP Muktar Uzairu pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them by discharging their duties diligently.
