Members of All Progressives Congress (APC) under aegis of North Central APC Youths have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack the Minister of Information and Culture,Mr. Lai Mohammed for creating confusion and dividing the party in Kwara State

According to youths , it has become  obvious that Lai Mohammed is not only  a liability to APC in Kwara State , but also allegedly working for the opposition party to take over from Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazak.

The APC youths in a press statement signed by its Coordinator,Mal.Musa Aliyu Ahmadu, ” From all indications , Mr Lai Mohammed cannot be trusted again , thus the resolve by the group to ask the President to sack him with immediate effect.
The Statement reads: ” His actions in recent times  have  caused  many Pro-APC  members to leave the party in Kwara and If left unchecked , he would create a bigger crack in centre across the nation .

” We have it on record that some aggrieved APC members have burnt bros in protest and dumped the party .We also gathered more members are being wooed to join PDP in Kwara because the unnecessary bickerings between Lai Mohammed and Governor Abdulrazaq .

“As concerned youths of the Party in the North Central, we have concluded arrangements to move to Kwara en masse to compel President Muhammadu Buhari to remove Lai Mohammed as Minister .
“Mr President , we strongly ,if done as requested , the Minister of Information would put to shame and he will no longer have grip of the few he’s using to cause division in party .

” We reiterate our stand to give all necessary support to the leader of the down trodden of Kwara  people, Governor Abdulrazak Abdulrahman ,who we believe has all the leadership prowess required to unite the members of the party .

“We would no longer tolerate burning of the brooms in Kwara ,when the Governor is working hard to provide dividends of democracy and maintain cordial relationship amongst members ahead of the 2023 Elections.”
