All roads led to Kachia the Headquarters of Kachia Local Government Area Of Kaduna State, where the Kachia Political Forum (KPF) Organized a grand reception and award ceremony for one of it’s illustrious Sons, Alhaji Murtala Dabo.
The ceremony which took place at Government Secondary School Kachia on Monday was well attended by people from all walks of life.
The Chairman of the occasion, Honourable Gabriel Saleh Zok (Har) Member Representing Kachia/ Kagarko at National Assembly mentioned that it is not everyone who is well to do that has the people at heart, up to the level of enacting innovations that will touch their lives.
Gabriel said, Murtala Muhammad Dabo is a man with a big heart that has done a lot to develop Kachia Local Government, Kaduna State and the Country at large, against which backdrop he reiterated his readiness to work together with any person that would help in executing programs geared towards bringing development to the people.
While commending the recipient and urging him not to relent in his efforts in taking the area to greater heights. he charged other Stakeholders in the area to emulate the kind gesture exhibited by the Philanthropist , and help the people anytime the need arises.
Earlier in his address, the Chairman Kachia Political Forum, Mallam Isiyaku Musa stated that, what informed the decision of the Forum to honor Alhaji Murtala Muhammad Dabo was owing to his exceptional service to humanity, brilliant leadership, absolute dedication to duty and unwavaring commitment to the development of Kachia and it’s environs.
Isiyaku added that, the recipient has done a lot to make the community and the world a better place and ” we would therefore loved to present to you, our extraordinary award winning Son.” ” But by way of compromise, we happily present to you, an ordinary man, who is extraordinary in his deeds, achievements and interactions”.
Isiyaku further said that the forum is recognizing Dabo as one of their illustrious Sons who has stood tall in service to humanity, and also commended the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai for giving their Son the opportunity to serve in his administration.
He revealed that the organizers are members of The Kachia Political Forum which members cut across party affiliations, and irrespective of any difference, geared to bring the youth together from every Political spectrum towards achieving a workable and sustainable knowledge based solutions, on crises emanating from some Political and social challenges.
Also speaking, the Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Honourable Amos Bako commended Alhaji Murtala Dabo for the human and capital development in the area.
Bako said the recipient is one of the best things that happened to the area, and urged him not to relent in his efforts of taking Kachia to another level of development.
While reiterating the commitment of his council in delivering the dividends of Democracy to the people, he appealled to other Stakeholders in the area to emulate the good work of Dabo, and urged all and sundry to live in peace and harmony to pave way for continuous development.
In his remarks, the District Head of Kachia Alhaji Sabiu Suleiman appreciated Alhaji Murtala Muhammad Dabo for his giant stride in taking Kachia to another level of development.
The Royal Father said the area will forever remain grateful to him for his kind gesture, an effort that has brought human and capital development to the area.
Receiving the awards from different organizations and associations, Alhaji Murtala Muhammad Dabo thanked the organizers, those who presented the awards and all who grazed the occasion. the recipient argued that, what he has been doing was not for man to reward him, but is doing it for God’s reward,and however noted that if the people are going to give award, the rightful owner of the awards given to him is supposed to be the Executive Governor of Kaduna State His Excellency Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai who was instrumental to all the achievements been mentioned.
While appealing to all stakeholders in the area to come together and help take Kachia to the next level of development, he urged all to live in peace, mutual respect and understanding to pave way for continuing rapid development.
